2015 Packing Week

Two and a half days of hard work for the volunteers of QMCG and Veteran’s Aid, together with volunteers from the Royal Household led to approximately 18,000 items being distributed to 38 charities on Wednesday 16th September.

This year all the charities collected their items promptly with QMCG even receiving thank you letters from St Mary’s Convent & Nursing Home, Spitalfields Crypt Trust, Marie Curie Hospice (Hampstead) by Thursday.

The Police Team in conjunction with the Pass Office at St James’s Palace helped everything run smoothly.  This was the first year that the Event’s Team at Buckingham Palace have worked with QMCG and their assistance and professionalism was exemplary.

Thank you to all involved over the past months for your efforts.
