We were delighted to welcome Friends of the Guild to our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 15th May 2024 at the Royal Automobile Club in Central London.
We enjoyed speeches from our Chair of Trustees Mary Guppy, Executive Chair Ruth Briant and Hon. Treasurer Sharon Stewart as well as a very interesting talk from Canon Thomas Woodhouse of The King’s Chapel of the Savoy about the history of the chapel, the role of the Chaplain as well as the vital role they play in the community supporting the homeless in the area through their charity partners.
Tea was served after the meeting as well as a delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes. Guests were also able to purchase QMCG merchandise and our anniversary china pieces from our Sales Table run by Executive Committee members Donna Hart and Vicki Meakin.
